Description
Walls and piers, built around 1810, are made of coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings and ashlar piers. They enclose the garden in front of New Broomielaw. The high wall starts from the left end of the house and slopes down to a low wall in front of the garden. This wall is interrupted by plain, pyramid-topped square piers and extends to a ramp leading up to the front gable of the right wing of the adjacent farm building. These structures are included for their group value.
