Description
Travellers' Seat is a guidestone for travellers, dated 1780. It is set in an upstand of a low rubble boundary wall at the roadside. The guidestone is a flat-faced slab approximately 1 meter high and 1¼ meters wide, featuring inscriptions that are now only partly legible. The second line reads "ERECTED 1780," and the following lines mention Crickhowell, Brecon, Ross, Gloucester, and Brecknock, along with their distances in "Miles from hence."
