Description

The pigsty at Upper White Castle consists of three 19th-century pigsties arranged in a linear formation. The walls are made of rubble stone, and they feature a gabled slate roof with a tile ridge. Each pigsty has a small front yard surrounded by stone walls topped with flat coping. The front wall of each yard includes a square stone feeding shoot, which is now blocked. At the back of each yard, there are doorways that lead into an enclosed sleeping chamber.
