Description
The lych gate in St Cadoc's Churchyard is a timber-framed structure with stone side walls and a 20th-century composition stone tile roof. The porch entry features an arch-braced head-board. On either side, oak posts support a cambered tie-beam that is embattlemented and inscribed with the word "Remember." Each side of the entry has narrow side walls that rise to about 1 meter in height. The upper side walls are timber-framed and include small pointed-arched panels. The gable truss has open vertical panels between the tie-beam and collar, is boarded at the top, and has plain bargeboards. Inside, there is a collar rafter roof, and the inner face of the tie beam is inscribed with "Be thankful." Above the side benches, there are memorial tablets dedicated to those who fell in both wars. The upper side walls are timber-framed and feature open panels with ogee heads.
