Description
Holy Trinity Vicarage is a building constructed from squared, coursed rock-faced sandstone with Bath stone dressings and a natural slate roof. The rear wings are rendered. It features a single depth front range with two rear wings and is designed in the Tudor Gothic style. The building has two storeys and includes three windows along the front. A central porch with a 4-centred arch and a coped gable leads to a part-glazed panelled door. Flanking the porch are 3-light small paned casements with mullion-and-transom. On the upper floor, there are 2-light 6 over 6 pane casements, with a single light window above the porch. The 2-light windows are topped with gables, and there is a dormer situated between them. The roof is steeply pitched, featuring a large 4-flued stack on the west gable and a paired stack with diamond set flues on the east gable. The lower wing to the west has a 2-light window below and a single window in the gable above, with a half-hipped roof and a rear stack with diamond set flues. The gable end facing the street has a small window and bargeboards. The rear elevation displays unequally gabled wings with small paned casements and scalloped bargeboards, along with an additional stack on the right.
Inside, a Gothic style staircase with a heavy balustrade remains, but the rest of the interior was not seen during the resurvey.
