Description
The former stable at Newhouse Farm is a stone building topped with a slate roof, featuring a lean-to at the rear. It has gable doorways and walls that include splayed vents. The interior is particularly noteworthy, with a loft supported by massive square beams that also hold two surviving upper cruck trusses. These trusses have lapped collars, spurs, and long yokes with kingposts positioned below the ridge, along with two rows of purlins.
