Description
Danycoed is a house built from squared coursed rubble stone, featuring a slate roof with flat eaves and rendered end stacks. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range of large sash windows, which have late 19th-century replacement 6-pane sashes. The windows are adorned with cut stone voussoirs above slightly cambered heads and stone sills. The central doorway is arched and consists of a four-panel door topped with a radiating-bar fanlight. The building has flush quoins and a raised thin band between the floors, while the eastern end wall is rendered. There is an outshut at the rear.
The front garden is enclosed by low wrought-iron spearhead railings set on a dwarf rubble retaining wall with flat stone coping. These railings run along the southern front and return along the western side. The stanchions feature cast iron urns, and there is a matching gate with scrolled spearheads and dog-bars. The interior has not been inspected.
