Description
6 Lamb Lane is a group of late Georgian buildings, two stories high with two windows, constructed from part-coursed rubble and featuring colourwashed rubble and roughcast fronts. The structure is wider at No 7, which includes a third ground floor window. The roofs are slate, with wide boarded eaves and chimney stacks made of brick and roughcast. The windows at Nos 3 and 5 are horizontally sliding sash types, while No 7 has sash windows with glazing bars, and the remaining fronts have casement and modern windows. Cambered voussoir lintels are present above the windows.
The entrances are centrally located, with most featuring modern doors. There is a cobbled pavement leading to No 3 and external rubble steps at No 6 that have a ramped wall descending to No 7. Originally, the buildings were only one room deep, except for No 5, which has a modern extension at the rear.
