Description

The Kings Arms is a three-storey, four-window public house dating from the late 19th century. The front facade features a prominent fascia supported by gabled brackets on pilasters. The upper floors have four-pane sash windows set within moulded architraves; the first-floor windows are distinguished by cornices. An additional window is located on the first floor at the north end.

The ground floor includes late 19th century sash windows with small panes in the upper sashes and panelled lower sashes. The main entrance door is situated to the right, with a blank overlight above, and is flanked by pairs of sash windows separated by plain piers and matching pilasters. Further sashes are arranged alongside, with a single sash at the far right, all set within plain dividing piers. The pilasters are of a late 19th century design, with conventional caps at two-thirds of their height and an additional upper section extending to the outer brackets of the fascia.
