Description

This is one of 28 cast iron bollards that flank the entrance lock, dating from 1888. The bollards have a cannon shape with cylindrical shafts and feature one neck ring. They have square bases that are intended to be buried. The round top plate is inscribed with 'Butterley Company 1888.'
