Description
Noddfa is one of a row of six 19th-century houses located in a residential area. The houses are finished in stucco with slate roofs and stone end stacks. Five of the houses are unpainted, while Ardwyn is painted. All the houses are two storeys tall and feature rectangular fanlights. Ardwyn, Llainlwyd, and Cartref share a similar design, with bracketed eaves, three-window fronts that have 12-pane sash windows, and raised stucco window and doorframes that include keystones. The doors have plain overlights; Ardwyn features a modern glazed door, Llainlwyd has a six-panelled door, and Cartref has an eight-panelled door. The remaining three houses are simpler in design: Noddfa and Afallon each have two-window fronts with 12-pane horned sashes, with Noddfa having its door on the left and Afallon on the right. Both of these houses have modern glazed doors and plain overlights. Bramley, the last house, has a three-window front, rusticated quoins, smaller two-pane horned sashes compared to the others, and an eight-panelled door with a traceried overlight set in a painted timber doorcase. This doorcase features pilaster sides, console brackets, and a moulded cornice.
