Description
Maesgwyn is a farmhouse constructed from yellow-washed rubble stone, featuring a flat-eaved slate roof and rendered end stacks. It is two storeys high with a three-bay front that includes 12-pane sash windows and a central arched doorway. The doorway is framed by stone voussoirs and has stone sills. The door is from the 20th century, but the original fanlight above has radiating bars. The end walls are windowless and have overhanging verges.
At the lower northeast rear, there is a wing with a northern end stack. This wing has two upper windows with stone voussoirs; the right window retains a 9-pane hornless sash. The ground floor features a door and window with stone voussoirs, which are part of a 20th-century timber and glass lean-to. The interior has not been inspected.
