Description

15-15A is a three-storey building with a four-window block, which includes a shop front on the left. The exterior is roughcast over brick with smooth rendered dressings, topped by a slate roof with brick end stacks, all resting on a rendered plinth. Architectural details feature raised sill bands and quoin strips.

On the first floor, there are 12-pane hornless sash windows with narrow glazing bars, set in raised eared surrounds with keystones. To the right of the ground floor, there is a similar window. The second floor has late 20th-century two-light wooden windows located just under the eaves, with raised reveals. The entrance to No 15 is positioned to the right of the centre and features a half-glazed panelled door, which may have had wooden panels replaced with frosted glass. This entrance is accessed by two stone steps and is sheltered by a flat cantilevered porch canopy that has a moulded and panelled underside.

To the left, the shop front showcases mid to late 20th-century details, including plain pilasters that define the openings and support an angled fascia, possibly concealing an earlier cornice. The shop features a two-panel wooden door with an overlight, and to the right of this door is a two-light shop window. On the left side, there is an additional doorway, likely leading to a through-passage, which is secured by a cast iron gate with plain uprights and scrollwork on the lock-rail, with boarded sections behind.

At the rear, the building has a four-window layout, primarily featuring three-light wooden or uPVC casements, with single lights located at the far right. The windows are positioned at varying levels, and the second window from the left has a segmental head. The interior has not been seen.
