Description
Mount Pleasant Terrace is a uniform terrace of buildings dating from the 19th century. It consists of two-storey structures with basements and attics, featuring two-window scribed stucco and roughcast fronts, except for No 5, which has three windows. The slate roof includes cresting on Nos 1 to 3, and there are rendered and brick chimney stacks. The gabled dormers are slate hung and have casement windows, except for No 3, which has a modern flat roof attic. The buildings have sash windows below, primarily with 12 panes, although the glazing bars have been removed from No 4. Each building features moulded architraves and an overall first-floor cill band with classical brackets. The doors are half-glazed and modern, and there have been some alterations to the basements. The rear of the terrace is rendered brick, with cill bands and small pane sash windows.
