Description
The structure is a stone-walled leat located on the north-east side of the Watermill at Glynllifon. This deep leat, which is cement-rendered, curves from the west drive to the wheel pit that powers the overshot waterwheel. On the north-west side, there is a square reservoir featuring its own iron sluice gates. Near the wheel, the original paddle for operating the main sluice is still present, along with part of the sluice itself. Beyond this point, the leat steps down and continues for the remaining distance within a slate-lined trough.
