10 Castle Road, Grantown-On-Spey

12 Castle Road in Grantown-On-Spey is a pair of two-storey houses dating from around 1800. The houses face west, with one house (number 10) having three bays and the other (number 12) having two bays. The exterior is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar stone, featuring contrasting painted rendered margins and a deep base course. Both houses have end and ridge stacks and are topped with a local slate roof.

Number 10 has enlarged ground floor windows that flank a central door, with varied glazing. Number 12 features a single window on both the ground and first floors in the return gable, as well as a small attic light. There is also a single-storey flat-roofed extension at the rear of the property.
