Description

20 Castle Road in Grantown-On-Spey is a pair of two-storey and attic dwellings dating from the mid to late 19th century, facing west. The building features a three-bay layout for number 18 and a two-bay layout for number 20. Constructed from rubble with tooled granite dressings, the properties have four-pane glazing, coped end and ridge stacks, and roofs made of Welsh slate. Number 18 has a central door that leads to a symmetrical three-bay frontage and includes two canted dormers. Number 20 has first-floor windows on the return south gable and one canted dormer.
