Description
24 Castle Road in Grantown-On-Spey is a pair of two-storey dwellings built around 1800. They feature coped end and ridge stacks and have local slate roofs.
Number 22 is constructed of rubble with tooled rubble dressings. It has a narrow, symmetrical three-bay frontage with a central door and 16-pane glazing, along with a small attic light on the north gable.
Number 24 has a wider three-bay frontage and is harled. It also has a central door, with two additional ground floor windows to the right, a first-floor window, and a small attic window in the south return gable. The building is supported by boulder footings.
