Description

38 and 40 Port Street and 2 and 4 Dumbarton Road in Stirling is a late 19th century building designed in the Free Renaissance style. This four-storey corner building features ashlar stonework, a spired and pilastered canted bay adorned with urns and relief sculpture at the third floor. The canted bay is flanked by pedimented bays, and there is an additional two-window section on Dumbarton Road. The ground floor consists of shops, and the building is topped with a slated roof.
