Description

34 Albert Place is a two-storey semi-detached house built in 1878 by John Allan for himself. The building features a symmetrical design with rock-faced rubble construction and one window on each side. It has a canted bay that extends through both floors, along with an unusual bay and a doorpiece that is of non-period design. The plans for the house are reversed. The roof is slated, and there is a single-storey section on either side that has been converted into garages.
