Description

149 High Street in Biggar is a late 18th century building that has undergone some alterations. The exterior is harled and painted, featuring chamfered margins and a slate roof. The structure consists of two buildings. The western building is two storeys high with an attic and has a symmetrical front with three windows. It includes two late 19th century canted dormers with gablet heads and a pilastered doorway. The eastern building is also two storeys tall and has a three-window front with a central tripartite design and a pend, though the pend has modern windows that are currently blocked.
