Description

This is a mid-19th century single-storey and attic house located at 45 Patna Road, Kirkmichael. It is constructed of granite with whin cherry cocking, a decorative finish where contrasting coloured stones are used. The painted margins and eaves course are chamfered. The house has three bays, with a modern central entrance door. There are two piended dormers (dormers with a hip roof) set into the roof. The roof is slate-covered, with straight skews (where roof slopes meet) and end stacks (chimneys at the ends of the building).
