Description
Glenour is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay traditional farmhouse located at Colmonell. The farmhouse has harled walls and ashlar cills.
The west-facing elevation features a gabled porch in the centre, with a door to the left return and a window to the west. The windows are regularly spaced, with taller windows on the ground floor.
The south-facing elevation has a long, single-storey byre range adjoined, with various openings facing west and east.
The east-facing elevation contains a gabled, single-storey jamb in the centre, with windows to the north and south, and a gablehead stack. A lean-to continuation of the byre range extends to the left. The north-facing elevation is blank.
The farmhouse has four-pane glazing in sash and case windows. The porch has ashlar skewes. Coped harled gablehead stacks are present, along with thackstanes and small grey slates.
In 1990, the building was unoccupied and in a poor state of repair.
