Description
Weisdale Mill is a former grain mill built in 1855, consisting of two storeys and a lower floor, with a five-bay layout. The walls are harled, and the windows feature projecting cills.
On the south elevation, the central bays of the lower floor are hidden by a modern lean-to conservatory. To the right, there is a single-storey rubble lean-to with a small window projecting in the outer right bay, while the outer left bay has an infilled window. The upper floors have a regular arrangement of modern four-pane timber windows, except for the infilled window at ground level in the outer left bay.
The east gable is symmetrical and shows the remains of a rubble wheel pit at the lower floor. There are two windows at ground level, both infilled, and a single window centered above on the first floor, along with a small louvered opening in the gablehead.
The north elevation has its lower floor obscured and features irregular fenestration, including a loading door at the first floor in the outer left bay.
The roof is a bell-cast design covered with grey slate, and it has ashlar skew copes with block skewputts and gablehead finials.
