Description

Smithy House, part of a row of estate dwellings known as Lindean Cottages and Smithy, dates from the mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of coursed stone blocks and are single-storey in height. The right and left ends feature crowstepped gables, with recessed niches in the attic space behind them.
