Description

The Walled Garden at Halmyre House dates from 1856, as indicated above the main entrance. This mansion, designed in a baronial style, is notable for its large walled garden located at the side and features the remains of a lean-to dovecote. The core of the mansion dates back to the 16th or 17th century, and the ground floor of the main block includes a vaulted undercroft.
