Description

The Town Hall in The Square, Greenlaw, is a notable example of symmetrical classical architecture, designed by architect John Cunningham in 1829. It features a central Ionic portico and a raised dome, flanked by pedimented pavilions. The building was constructed at the expense of Sir William Purves Hume Campbell to serve as the new county buildings.
