Description
7 High Street in Eyemouth is a two-storey building constructed in 1819 by Alexander Gilkie. It features three bays and is rendered to resemble ashlar stone, with ashlar dressings. The front of the building has a central doorway with an original nine-panelled door, a carved lintel, and a fanlight above. To the left, there is a modern shop window, while to the right, there is an original twelve-pane double sash window. The glazing has been renewed elsewhere. The roof is slated, and there are rectangular rendered end stacks.
