Description

Chesters House was completed in 1790 and designed by the architect William Elliot. The building features a central block with a pediment, consisting of two storeys, and is flanked by pavilions on either side that are connected by a passage. It was built by Thomas Ogilvie, who acquired the estate in 1786 after concluding his career in India.
