Description
25 Gauze Street is a later 18th century, 2-storey house with an attic and basement, now used for commercial purposes. The building features a symmetrical five-bay façade constructed of ashlar stone. There is a band course above the basement, although the basement windows are blocked. The entrance has an architraved doorpiece with a cavetto splay, cornice, and fluted frieze. The windows are 2-pane sashes. The eaves have a cornice and a blocking course. The slate roof includes two piended dormers and corniced end stacks.
