Description

Bonhard House is a 2-storey mansion built between 1847 and 1849 in the Jacobean style, constructed from red stugged ashlar. The house features a prominent 3-storey entrance tower with an ogee roof and square angle turrets. To the east, there is a small tower, and a lower 2-storey service wing that includes strapwork dormer-heads. The interior is simple, retaining original chimneypieces, although some plasterwork has been recently simplified.
