Description
Dalguise House is a building originally constructed in 1753, featuring a three-storey, five-window design with harled walls and margins. There is a two-storey west addition, likely built around 1825, and a tall two-storey east addition from approximately 1835, which includes a bow front and a later porch. A scratch dial incorporated into the structure is dated 1754. The house also has a three-storey and attic 'keep' added in 1885, designed by architect Andrew Heiton from Perth, which includes a finely carved high relief armorial panel of earlier origin. There is no notable interior work mentioned. The property includes a late walled and terraced garden with a gazebo. Currently, Dalguise House serves as the Bays Holiday School Association of Boys Clubs.
