Description

Dalguise Viaduct, located over the River Tay in Dalguise, was constructed between 1861 and 1863 by civil engineer Joseph Mitchell, with ironwork supplied by Fairbairn & Sons of Manchester. The viaduct features two main spans measuring 210 feet and 141 feet, supported by lattice girders between octagonal ashlar towers. Additionally, there are plate girder land spans.
