Cultybraggan Former Cadet Camp Huts 44, 45, 46, Comrie

The Cultybraggan Former Cadet Camp Huts 44, 45, and 46, located in Comrie, date from around 1941 and are part of a larger World War II Prisoner of War camp. The buildings include a flat-roofed guard's block made of brick and shuttered concrete, featuring a prominent three-bay section in the center. To the northeast, there are three semi-circular corrugated metal Nissen huts, each with a 16-foot span, brick base courses, and rendered ends. These huts have corrugated iron roofs, most with doors flanked by timber windows at each end, and timber and corrugated iron catslide dormers along the lengths. The windows are mostly timber casements with various glazing patterns.

Inside the cell block located in the west wing, there is a corridor lined with four original metal cell doors on each side, although the partitions between the cells have been removed. The Nissen huts are generally very plain in their interior design.
