Description

Cleish Parish Church was built in 1832 and features an oblong shape with coursed stonework and a slated roof. The building includes mullioned-and-transomed windows with hood-mouldings. In 1897, a chancel and a crenellated tower were added, along with alterations to the interior. The interior, which was also altered in 1897, contains memorials to the Adams family of Blair Adam and the Youngs family of Cleish. The tower and interior changes were designed by the Edinburgh architects Hardy and Wright.
