Description
Crosshill House, built around 1825 to 1835, is a low two-storey building with an asymmetrical northern entrance front and a symmetrical southern front. The southern facade features three windows, with the center window slightly projected. It has stone corbelled eaves with jerkin-heads above the first-floor windows, a piend roof, and diagonal shafted chimneys. The windows are designed with wood mullion and transom crosses, and there are hood moulds at the ground floor on the southern side. The building is constructed from rubble with dressed stone details, including a vermiculated belt course at the first-floor level.
