Description

Neil Gow's Cottage is a single-storey building constructed of rubble, which has been altered over time. It features a bronze portrait plaque. This cottage was the residence of the famous Scottish fiddler Niel Gow, who lived from 1727 to 1807, as well as his sons Nathaniel Gow, who lived from 1766 to 1831, and Niel Gow, Jun., who lived from 1795 to 1823.
