Description
The Jerviston Railway Viaduct, located in Forgewood, Motherwell, is a tall railway viaduct built in the later 19th century. It features nine arches and is constructed from bull-faced yellow sandstone. The arch rings are prominent, and there is an ashlar string course that runs along the piers at the height where the arches begin.
