Description

52 and 52A Hamilton Street in Saltcoats is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall with an attic and features two bays. The exterior is finished in dry dash with painted ashlar margins. At the ground level, there is a pilastered doorpiece and a shop, while the first floor has two windows, one of which is a piended canted dormer. The building has an eaves course and cornices that block the course. The roof is slate and has straight skews.
