Description

56 Hamilton Street in Saltcoats is an early 19th century building that stands two storeys tall with an attic and features two bays. The exterior is finished in dry dash with painted ashlar margins. The ground floor includes a pilastered doorpiece and a shop front. On the first floor, there are two windows, and a piended canted dormer is present in the attic. The building is topped with an eaves course, cornice, and blocking course, and it has straight skews and a slate roof.
