Description

235 Seatown in Cullen is a cottage from the early to mid-19th century, featuring a later attic. It is a single-storey building with an attic and has three bays. There is a low, narrow, single-storey addition at the west gable, which was originally used as a fishing gear store. The front of the cottage has a dry dashed finish, while the gable is rendered and painted, with rendered margins. The entrance is located in the centre, and there are late 19th-century canted wallhead dormers in the outer bays, each topped with decorative cast-iron apex finials. The windows have 2- and 4-pane glazing. The cottage has end stacks and slate roofs, with felt tiles on the wing.
