Description
Glebe Sugar Refinery is an early 20th-century building, likely constructed between 1919 and 1920. It is a free-standing, five-storey block made of red brick, featuring contrasting yellow brick dressings. The ground floor is plain and includes large openings for vehicles. Above, pilaster strips divide the bays, and there are round-headed openings throughout, most of which still have their original glazing. The northeast corner has a curved bay, and the building is topped with a double-layered dentil cornice and a flat roof.
