5 View Place is an early 19th-century building constructed from rubble with dressed margins. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring three windows and three doors on the ground floor, and five windows on the first floor. The building includes two piended dormers and has a slated roof. The north chimney has been heightened. There is also a garden wall made of rubble along Culduthel Road.
