Description
Leirinbeg House in Durness dates from 1810 and is a two-storey, three-bay house that faces east. The central door is concealed by a later projecting gabled porch. The exterior is harled, featuring small first-floor windows positioned close to the wallhead, with 12-pane glazing. The house has corniced end stacks and a slate roof.
At the southwest corner, there is a small rubble steading that is at right angles to the house but remains separate, also with a slate roof. The property is surrounded by fine drystone walls that are coped, enclosing both the house and the garden.
