Description

1 Ardross Terrace in Inverness is a building designed by Alexander Ross in 1873. It is constructed from Flemish snecked rubble and stands two storeys tall with an attic. The end blocks feature gablets that are flanked by turret elements topped with ornamental chimneys. The gablet at numbers 5 and 6 has a crowstepped design, while number 4 has an advanced centre that rises as a tower with a French pavilion roof. The building also includes wallhead dormers and displays Gothic detailing.
