Description
This building, dated 1786, is a two-storey and attic, three-bay house that features shops on the ground floor. It is constructed of squared rubble with a harled gable and painted ashlar margins. The central section has a round-headed, keystoned arched pend, with modern shop fronts on either side. The central gabled bay rises into a gablet that has an apex chimney, and there are windows on the first and attic floors. The flanking first-floor windows have been enlarged, and there are two late 19th-century dormers. The end stacks have been renewed, and the roof is covered with slate.
