7 New Street, High Land, Arisaig

3 New Street in High Land, Arisaig, is a pair of late 19th century single storey and attic cottages, each consisting of three bays. The cottages are constructed from harl pointed rubble with tooled rubble dressings.

Each pair features a substantial gabled weather-boarded porch that conceals the central door. The porches include a side entrance and front two-light windows. Gabled dormers with weather boarding detailing are located in the outer bays of each cottage, which also have four-pane glazing, coped end and ridge stacks, and a slate roof.

At the rear, there are two-storey corrugated iron extensions, each with entrances to alternate dwellings. Additionally, there is a modern glazed sun parlour with a gabled corrugated iron roof at the west gable of No. 1.

The property is complemented by low drystone front garden walls and a pair of square tooled rubble gate piers at the west, which flank the entrance to the rear.
