Description

The Church of Scotland in Kinlochbervie, designed by Thomas Telford in 1829, is a standard Parliamentary T-plan church. The exterior features harled walls with tooled ashlar margins. The south elevation has depressed arched outer paired doors and similarly arched paired windows at the center. This arched detailing is also present in the single windows of the east and west gables, as well as in the rear wing, all fitted with standard cast-iron 2-light frames and lattice glazing, although one rear window has some clear glass replacement. At the apex of the east gable, there is a small cross finial, and a standard bellcote with stumpy pinnacles is located at the west end. The church is topped with a slate roof.
