Description
The henhouse at Moymains, Moy Hall, dates from the mid to late 19th century and is a low, single-storey, square structure. It features a central square boarded cupola, which likely housed a small dovecote. The building is constructed from harl pointed rubble and has paired entrances on the east and west sides, both located under deep boarded gables that have simple bargeboards and wooden apex finials. At the top of the cupola, there is an apex weathercock, although the compass pointers are missing. The henhouse is topped with shallow piended slate roofs that have exaggerated deep eaves.
