Description
Hugh Miller's Cottage, located on Church Street in Cromarty, dates back to 1711 and features a harled exterior. The building is low with two storeys and has an east-facing front that includes four windows and two doors on the ground floor, along with three windows on the first floor. The roof is thatched, and some of the windows are exceptionally small. There is a dwarf wall surrounding the garden, topped with spearhead cast-iron railings. In the garden, there is a sundial that is carved and initialled by Hugh Miller.
